Yes I will definitely let you know especially after your time spent searching records on my behalf.

Thank you for adding a Tutberry to the names.

Sorry for not replying sooner but floors needed mopping and a cup of tea was needed after the exertion.

That looks very close. Blackburn for Blacknell. Hannah's father was George Blacknell (1800-1845).

Tutberry is close too. William's father was John Tudbury (Tudberry) or even Tutberry!!!

I have bookmarked it for perusal.

Many thanks Safc for your searches.

I have received the marriage certificate for the couple that safc suggested: William Tutberry and Hannah Blackburn. Unfortunately, I'm still unable to tell if it is definitely my William Tudbury/Tudberry and Hannah Blackburn. They are unable to sign their names - illiterate? and the witnesses are Henry and Margaret Dunn - don't know who they are. The 1852 date ties in with my couple and the names of father's are correct. The parish is not too far from Westoe where they started farming. William's profession is Husbandman on certificate. It doesn't state their ages 'of full age' and their residence is 'of this parish'.

The death certificate for William Tudberry is correct as he is a farmer in Westoe and the age is correct.

Thanks for all your help.
