Have you found her birth on SP?
That may have her parents date of marriage on it as it is often included on the birth cert.

Where was she born exactly?Do you know?
Or maybe have her date of birth?
Her fathers occupation from her M/C?
Who did she marry?

That entry is a submitted entry by a member of the LDS.
The message that is with it will tell you more.

For surest results you need them to be extracted records that are taken from parish records.

I have found a marriage on IGI for John Thomas Smith and Margaret Kilpatrick in Glasgow 1880 which would fit in with their daughter's d.o.b. but I can't find it on ScotlandsPeople.
I also can't find them on any census with or without their daughter Isabella d.o.b.c 1882.
Does anyone know how IGI get their information ?

Thank you
jean
They are on their daughter's marriage certificate in 1899 in Glasgow..
