Thanks FGB,

That's my good deed done for the week.

Hope it's a healthy larder!
I too have porridge every morning and during the week it works well as I don't have to stop for lunch at all..........but at the weekend sitting at the computer......munch, munch!
Still healthy eating with no sweeties, chocolate, crisps, fatty foods etc.
A bowl of branflakes / shredded wheat isn't quite the same but at least I'm back down to a 32" waist.
My OH is still struggling with size 14/16 but she has been slowly recovering from a broken hip, then a replacement hip so she has an excuse........too much wine and crisps :))

Sorry for the confusion,
Yes this is her on the 1901 census with her 1st husband James, which I don't have the marriage cert. for.
Her 2nd husband was Robert Moore, they married in Partick, Glasgow 1929, this is where I got her parents information from.
Father is Thomas Smith , pottery worker, mother is Margaret Smith m.s. Kilpatrick, not shown as deceased.

Thanks

The birth for her on IGI is again submitted,so not 100% reliable.

Could you tell us all of what it has on her marriage cert please?
Then we may be able to try and find her on census for you.

And I must be doing something wrong today but blowed if I can find Isabella Smith marrying James McLuskey on SP....

Jean

Jean Report 27 Feb 2010 13:07

Hi all ,
Thank you for replying,
Her father's occupation on her marriage cert was Pottery Worker, Her name on IGI is Mary Isabella and her fathers is John Thomas, on her marriage cert. father shown as just Thomas.
She married James McLuskey.
Haven't got her birth yet only marriage cert.

Jean

Thank you FannybyGaslight , not the one , sorry.
