I have Disc Cleanup with my windows, and try to do that at least every second night before closing down

That removes all temporay files, empties the Recycle Bin, etc etc .... there's a list of items that you can select

That is also in All Programs, Accessories, System Tools

but my computer has been set up so that a program I've used appears in the Start Program for about a week .... which means that programs I use regularly remain there so I don't have to keep searching for them!

Thank you everyone!
I have found out that I have automatic defragging! I think the chap who sold us the laptop installed it for us.
I have downloaded CClean and run it so I am feeling all fresh and clean now!

Hi Susan,

As pointed out by ICP above, how to get CCleaner to keep special passwords, e-mail addresses.........

Open CCleaner then click on Options then Cookies.

Left hand shows cookies to delete, these will always be deleted.
Any cookies you want to keep, click on it then use the arrow in the middle to send it into the Right hand........Cookies to keep.
These will always be retained.

You can also left click on the cookie and hold down to drag it backwards or forwards.
