Hi all,

Right I will take these in reverse order - because it is easier. Thank you all for replying to my thread.

Sharon,
Thank you for this information. It would be wonderful if they did all come to Nottingham! I work just down the road from St Nick's - I pass it on the bus every morning into work - would be great if they were married so close!! I will look this up and let you know, if you are interested?

Hi Kate,

I agree with you that if there was a cholera epidemic - this should not be ignored. Although Ozi and Sharon have found some info for me as a lead - I will not rule this out. Makes total sense!

Hi mgnv,

To have so many of your family wiped out within just one short month must have been devastating!!! We cannot imagine this today, can we?

Thank you for your detailed response on epidemics during this time - WOW!!! you have such a wealth of knowledge of this subject! - I knew that I was right to ask for help on this website. I suppose that this knowledge was gained through the search for what happened to a branch of your family?

Thanks for you reply.

Hi Cassidy and Brian,

Thank you for replying. Your imput is very much appreciated. With all these diseases around only 150 years ago - makes you wonder why we are scared of Swine Flu!!! [or maybe this is why we are scared!? ]

Thanks.

I hope that I havent forgotten anyone who was kind enough to reply!? - please keep any thoughts coming in whilst I check out the info that I have already received from you all.
