I have misinformed. According to the Home Child Canadian website the children could be any age from 4 -15. My aunt was 10 and she was in a home with two younger brothers but they werent sent !! one was 8 and the other 5.

Hello pam,
It is the right Frank Reddall with his Aunt and Uncle.
Eliza Homer was Frank`s mother`s sister,
I have just found the marriage of Eliza Harper and Joseph Homer,
Harper was Frank`s mother`s maiden name,
Thankyou very much i am very grateful.
Also the Military Record shame he was killed,he didn`t have much
of a life did he.

Searching for Frank at:
http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/databases/cef/index-e.html
brings up his attestation papers. B 5/1/1894, farmer, pob=Birmingham, nok= Miss Gertrude Reddall, Woodstock, NB.

Although I have nothing to do with this thread I just read through it and I am amazed at how brilliantly other members have searched out correct information for Carol.
