	Good start - have you got any ideas as to when Sonny was born, roughly? Looking at FreeBMD, am I right in guessing that they are the Blackwell children born in Chorlton It just occurred, could he have had the same name as his father, hence he was named "Sonny" to distinguish him from the elder man with his name?

	Could be a nickname for someone who was the only son in a family full of daughters? Have you got anything else to go on, like a possible mother's maiden name to go on that you could match his birth registration up with? (Assuming he was born after 1911.)
