OK I've just spent all my credits on the 1911 census and didn't get the answers I expected. |

Can you see who lived at an address without having to pay like in the other census returns? |

The address at which someone lives prior to a marriage is seldom the one at which they live after the marriage.......... |

Not necessarily.........unless you have some other evidence that the address was the family home. |

A lot of people would be living away from home by the time they were of an age to marry - perhaps in service etc. |

Have you tried looking for them by name and birth info? |

Addresses on Wedding Certificates are often made up or just that of a friend. Sometimes it was to cover up the fact that the couple were already living together. |

What about a birth cert for their first child that should have an address on it. |

Not absolutely sure but I think if people where in their place of employment at the time the census were taken then they would not show up at their home address, but at their place of work. |

Why not post the names and probable DoBs of the couple you're looking for and see if someone here can help you find them. As has been said, searching is free!. |
