Before the latest changes took place I never had to click on 'Add'. I used to just type in the box which was below all the threads, then clicked on Submit. It worked for me. But now I have to click on Reply up the top before the box appears for me to type in. Not half as quick and easy, although I dont think I could scrolll up and down replies to remind myself who said what.

I should be more cynical shouldn't I ! That hadn't even occurred to me - you would think an organisation that big would be able to take a few knocks and even turn them to their own advantage (a bit like several restaurants opening close together). I would have thought that the number of people who obviously use the site (proved by these message boards) would reassure them!

it can take DAYS for a posting to appear on the Success board and the weekend is particularly bad

.... they are supposed to be vetted first, and the people at GR work office hours. Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm, UK time!

If you notice, you rarely see only one new post on that board, there's usually 3 or 4 at a time, very occasionally more.

Why do they vet them???

Apparently to make sure that you are mentioning ONLY successes that have happened through GR and not through any other site, and that you are not posting anything other than a success story.

All the other boards post messages as soon as you click Submit (unless you yourself have sent it into the ether, as I have done by accident!)

There is a problem. At the weekend I posted an item on the Success Stories board. Several hours later it had not appeared (in fact there had been nothing new on there for several hours) and I reported it to GR. They emailed me next day to say that they had fixed it, but if it can happen on one board, why not others?.

My add button stopped working when they updated,i use firefox as well.
It's annoying having to go up to the top of the page to reply especially if it's a popular post

To-day, the reply button works! I have no idea what was wrong but thank you all for trying to help.

If clicking on add doesn't take you to the top of the page (as mine doesn't) there is no need to scroll, just press the button marked "home" on your keyboard and that will take you to the top.

Berona, You do not have to use ADD it is just a quick way of getting to the top of the page where you can get access to the reply button instead of having to scroll to the top

The add button is designed the same as page up button on your key board,
you clickon it and it takes you to the top of the page so you can clickon the reply button to reply/add to the thread,
this way it stops you having to scroll up to the top of the page to add/reply to the thread

In that case, contact GR ...... scroll down to the black line just below all the message boxes, and click on Contact Us.

The ADD button at the bottom of every post has not worked since they re-did the site late last year!

You have to scroll up to the top and click on REPLY ....... then it works beautifully!!!

This happened when the new layout started, the "ADD" button when pressed so if you are at the bottom of the page it takes you to the top of the page where the reply button shows. does nothing else

I also have to use the reply box as add doesn't work and I'm using IE so it's not just a firefox problem.
