	mgnv, It was not poor advice, what i actualy said was Today at 14:51 He is not showing on the Commonwealth War Dead web site but if he died in the war his death registration should be on find my past in the military section, (The Commonwealth War Dead web site is at, http://www.cwgc.org/debt_of_honour.asp ) (the section i refer to is, Soldiers Died in the Great War 1914-1919 on find my past) posted later was this Today at 15:04 I cannot find a pension record for him, IF you cannot find a death on findmypast then it would meen going through the index quarter by quarter on ancestry as he was born 1893 this would take a long time, i would try and see if he married? and go from their Roy

	Just to clear up some poor advice. The way to find a WW1 death (or WW2 come to that) is to search at: http://www.cwgc.org/debt_of_honour.asp

	BMD are only transcribed upto abt 1930 so to find his death will meen going through the index quarter by quarter on ancestry Roy

	The address he was living at the time was the 16,Wesley Street,Belle Vue,Wakefield.The image of this record is damaged but looks like he was an Engineering Draughtsman.Aged 23 at the time. Michelle

	There are Army Service Records coming up on Ancestry for two Arthur Stanley Fosters. If you don't have an Ancestry subscription, perhaps somebody who does could look them up for you.
