Can anyone remember what actually happened to Olde Crone, where did she go I have often wondered.
I missed her on the boards but have never found out where she went!!

I may be wrong, but I don't believe she has been seen since?

I wonder what did happen to her though, I mean really.

She was great with Irish rellies and any other searches as well, she had so much experience in family research and family history.

You're right. OC is missed, along with others who used to post no end of useful information - much of which I copied and pasted, and STILL refer to in my hour of need.....which is all the time when doing my family tree!!!!

Imagine the fun we could have if we were wicked - OC reading and fuming but powerless to respond! It's the chance of a lifetime!

Hi everyone, sorry I didn't know there were more posts on this thread after being on last night.

I did find out that OC and others who left GR are now on FTF, my main problem is I have never been on FTF and registered but somehow I can't manage my way around that website.

I just wish it had threads layed out the way GR is, however I am going to give it another try!!! even although I posted a thread on FTF a while back but somehow I could never find it again.

By younger folk like you and I perhaps Heather, but, sadly, OC's 70 Years Younger makeover, transforming her into the Glam lady in the photo on FTF, didn't extend to the old grey matter!

Perhaps the time is approaching for a whip round for one of those DS Brain Training gadgets for her?

Betty - do persevere with learning your way around FTF. It is well worth it!

Honest guys, its easy. Its just we have more boards over there than here. Boards for family tree program info, board for restoring any old photos you want done, boards for the WIKI encyclopaedia links - so much more but if you just come over and check out general and Research boards for the time being ...........

Its also great we can add photos and images on there so that you can put on the doc you cant read or ask for help indentifying uniforms etc.

Re the glittery signatures some people have which can distract, you can turn off all that stuff using your user panel on there. :)
