Sorry I didn't get back to this thread sooner but spent most of yesterday at the hospital with my Mum (:

I have a friend who just happened to have some credits left on Genes and she very kindly
looked up and printed off the entry for me...and yes it is my Sarah and her family.

Love to know how they were missed off Ancestry!!!!!

Thanks everyone for your help and ideas.

So sorry for my rudeness in not getting back but when I got back from the shops my daft puter had crashed and has been ill since, it is now working but I have to be really nice to it.

How frustrating, Jean. I have looked, too, in ancestry and can't find her there.

Maybe you could put up a request asking if anyone has the Gold membership on here and could do a look up for you.

I've just checked one of mine. According to GR there are 147 matches on the 1901 census. Well the names is fairly unusual & there are only 54 on Ancestry & that is without a DOB or POB!

Thanks Claire. Yes she is on there. It will cost me £5. to see it (:

So bloomin' annoying that she is not on the Ancestry 1901.

Thanks Keith.

Looks like I shall have to shell out a fiver to view the GR census as I can't get to Kew for a while (((

Jean, unfortunately as Christine said, Yorkshire is not yet on FMP.

Thankyou Claire and Christine :)

I have added to Debs thread in the hope that they might be on Find My Past.

I don't think Yorkshire is covered yet for 1901 on findmypast.

Hi Jean

Just had a good look around, yes i saw them too on the GR 1901, so am thinking you'll be best to ask someone who has Find My Past to see if they can find them...sometimes you see something one one but not the other

Hi Reggie,

According to the 1891 census he was an engineer pattern maker who was staying with his wife's mother and sister...ref. RG.12/3536/88 Page 1.

Thank you both very much. I thought I was missing something somewhere. Perhaps, for some reason, they are not on the Ancestry 1901(:
