I did it a few years ago after but before i contacted them I looked at The american white pages to see if they lived at the same address I found they had moved so I wrote to that address |

they were from southampton between 1700 and 1885 then in Hackney. |

i put in the parent search charles gannaway and emily plummer. there are 9 pedigree files that come up. if you click frank gannaway the sibmitters name is judith gannaway. |

i am y be being a little dense but i can't see where to click to find the details i click on the number and it comes up with lots of other files. could someone please have a look for me? |

I have read about people contacting submitters and letters finally reaching the person concerned. If you think they may be still alive, have a go. You haven't got anything to lose except the price of a stamp and you might just get lucky. |

I once tried to contact a submitter on IGI ...... it gave her full name and address in Australia on IGI |

If you found it on the Ancestral File part then all you need to do is click on submitters details and a name and address should pop up. |

I may be incorrect, but I believe if you click on "Source Call No.", it will give the approximate date the record was submitted (or sealed). |
