Ancestry index query - marriages..

Checking out a relative's date of marriage on the microfilmed ancestry indexes, it shows the surname of this person he married as ' Jones or Golding'. What does this mean? How come its one or the other? |

The woman had probably been married previously........but you'd need to obtain the cert to clarify it. |

Thanks Reggie. Thought that was the most likely as the two surnames can hardly be transcribed. |

You only need to order once.......put in the name of which you are certain, and leave out the other.......... |
