Hi, has anyone got this or has any other info on watermen / lightermen on the river Thames please. |

They have a webiste where you can look up individual baptism records. It costs £2-£3 per go so if you have a lot of watermen/lightermen it would not be practical but for the odd one it's useful. |

Watermen/lightermen were in the same families for centuries, intermarrying, training each others kids and so on. If you have one waterman/lighterman, chances are you have dozens or possibly hundreds (as in my case!) of them. |
