I am registered with gene under my married name, my maiden name only being used in my tree. I have been contacted by some one reseraching only one name, my maiden name, via genes telling me that as this surname has many diffrent ways of spelling it, would I like to pay for a dna test to prove I am related. I don't intend taking up the offer, but the puzzle is how did they find out my name? |
