Hi Sally, Yes, my search is taking place in Norfolk (amongst a few other counties!) I'd love to help, as so many people help me, but i don't want to tread on your toes, so i'll keep looking back, and if you've got a bunch of requests i'll see if i can help out! I'll be sure to let you know if i get stuck on anything, as i'm still fairly new to this! Nicola

I am desperate to find someone with 1851 Lancs census, to reak down my brickwall. Never mind am going to Lancs in Feb to visit graveyards, lets hope its not snowing. I am here to help if I can. Lot of people are emailing me direct, Please feel free to do that if you care too. Sally.

sally that one is very likely, is there more information on address, occupations ? Thank you so much, It really helps to push back one more generation on that line and place John Pettit's parents. Apparently ,according to family gossip he eloped with the family servant Amelia Parker about 1880 and the family rejected him ! very grateful for your help. I am going to put my contribution into the ring by going to a Liverpool Library tomorrow to do a look up for another member ! I hope that you are getting help with your own search regards Gill

Dear Sally thank you for the card and list sent by snail mail . Could i please ask for another lookup on the other side of the family? John Pettit was born in Birmingham 1855, so I hope his family would appear on 1851 census. I know it isn't much to go on !!! His parents were well off and would have employed servant/s Father may have been in the jewellery trade. Happy New Year thanks Gill
