Hi, Siobhan, I wonder if I could trouble you to just keep an eye out for my gt gt gt Grandfather on the 1841, middlesex as he has gone AWOL! My Dad found his wife and children living in Ealing, but no sign of him anywhere in that area. He is one Moses Cowdrey, b. 1818 in Harrow. Obviously I don't expect a look up, but if you should happen across him while searching, please kep me in mind. Many thanks Annie x

Hi Siobhan Thanks so much for double checking my Thomas Stickley. I looked for him on 1841 Census at the Family Records Centre but could hardly make anything out! If you're using the same images, you deserve a medal! Many thanks again. Best wishes Natalie

Hi Siobhan Scotland 1881 please - or maybe they are in England or Timbuctoo! Many thanks for the offer. This family is really doing my head in! (belongs to husb of course - mine are easier to find!). I have the births/christenings of his g.grandmother and 4 siblings. Can not find any of them, or parents, anywhere on 1881 on scotlandspeople. Margaret M(a)cDonald b.12.05.1849 @ Harris, Inverness-shire Angus M(a)cDonald b.20.01.1852 @ Harris Mary M(a)cDonald b.01.03.1854 @ Harris Flora M(a)cDonald b.28.05.1856 @ Rodel, Harris Christina M(a)cDonald b. 30.03.1861 @ Luskintyre, Harris Parents: Donald M(a)cDonald b. presumably pre 1833 Margaret M(a)cDonald, nee M(a)cLeod b. presumably pre 1833 Can't find their marraige, but its recorded on Christina's birth cert as 1849 March, Harris. Have birth certs for Christina (g.grandmother) and Flora. Christina married in Glasgow in 1888. Can not find her or any of the rest of the family in 1881. Dad Donald was variously a Ploughman/Farm Servant/Farm Grieve. Many thanks if you are able to look for them. I hope they don't try your patience as much as they have tried mine! Regards Ellen.

CelticShiv Report 5 Feb 2005 19:13

Rita, Do you have an approximated age, as there is nothing coming up for Dalserf/Larkhall and searching with no details brings up too many matches.
