Hi Nikki, Been down that road myself, assumed she may be in service. Found three Elizabeth's of the right age, servants in Notts & Derbys. Discounted one in Matlock who turned out to be my Eliza's cousin, another was an Elizabeth Ada that left me with the Elizabeth Ann Birkin, the one you suggested.I've been tempted for months to accept her as my Eliza and solve my problem, but thats 'cheating 'and does no favours for anyone, untill I can find a more positive link I will keep digging. Thanks for your interest, Roy

Cheers for that, i think now I might have got it wrong, Edith Mary Youatt was a witness at Emily elizabeth Youatts wedding, so now I guess she was a sister and the couple you have found are the true mum and dad - great cheers alasdair

Nikki I love you and I want to have your babies! No, I retract that, but I am very grateful and excited because this Jenkin Evans had a son in 1898 who is my husband's Welsh grandfather. He was called Edward Mandry Evans and he spent his later years living in Llangynwyd opposite the beautiful church [2nd oldest in Wales]. He cut the grass between the gravestones with a scythe and he is now buried there with his wife. I didn't know his father lived there before him! Thanks again nell

I would very much appreciate you looking up Jemima and Edwin Miller on the 1891 Census. They are probably living in London and may have a son Edwin with them. Thank you. Susan
