One of these could be your g.grandma... Bartlam, May 1894 September Births Birmingham (1837-1924) Warwickshire Bartlam, May 1897 June Births Stoke upon Trent Staffordshire Bartlam, May 1899 June Births Ashbourne Derbyshire Staffordshire Bartlam, May Amelia 1886 June Births Birmingham (1837-1924) Warwickshire I would suggest tracing your family first then if she is related, she will pop up somewhere. I can imagine you are too intrigued but without more detail its a struggle. You could start your own thread asking for birth help c1900 Midlands. Someone else may be able to help more than I could. Good luck x

Hi Donna, how old was she when she died? (sarah leonard) I can only search up to 1901 on Ancestry. To get certificates after that you'll need 1837 online x

Hi Laura im at such a block with my family history i hope u can help..i wounder if you can find a SARAH ANNIE ELIZABETH LEONARD who died in October around 1953? possibly from either Derbyshire or Birmingham.. i believe she was related to my grand mother CECILIA WAIGHT (NEE BARTLAM) who died in 1995. The only bit of our family history that me an my mum know for definate is that MAY BARTLAM gave birth to my nan cecilia IN 1921 and that from the age of 7 gran was looked after by a Miss Smith or Sarah Leonard, she never spoke of her past and we only fond these names out by a chance finding of grans Birth cert (No fathers name was on it.) I hope you can help, if u cant thanks for taking the time to read this post and i think what ur doing on here trying to help people is great :-) luv Donna x
