Hi Laura I need to find my greatgranfather's father, are you able to help? these are the details I have so far: my grandfather is called Charles Hayes born 1931 Featherstone West Yorkshire, his father with the same name was born in 1900 also born in West Yorkshire as I dont know the exact place. George Arthur Bathgate and Margaretha Peters.It will be before 1891 as Margaretha was shown as a lodger in Godstone, Reigate Surrey and her child George Arthur Jnr at 3mths old. Birth of his wife Elizabeth Davies b c 1808 Holborn. Middlesex and their marriage c 1831, Chelsea. How can I go back another generation with these two. Also marriage of William Taylor b 1832 Battersea, Surrey to Emma b. c 1837 Westminster, Middlesex. Child born 1856 Chelsea, Middlesex. Peter Taylor b. 1847 Chelsea, Middlesex. Hi Laura Thanks for offer do you think you could do look up in 1881 census or 1891 for a James Vargetson born 1875 its says woolwich on BMD.I have tried every spelling i can think of Would like to find his parents and family or who he was living with .He was easy to find in 1901 census with his wife and children ,think maybe i am missing something.
