Hi Kerri I am after the death of James Bennett. All I know of him is that he was born abt 1810 and came to Victoria, Australia in the mid 1850's. His wife's name was Sarah. There are so many James Bennett's registered in Victoria that I don't know which certificate to buy. Can you help narrow down the year he died? Thanks Lucy

Hi Kerri Yes that was my long lost uncle, Arthur Wiliam Peat so many thanks for that. Now a bit of a long shot this one, he had a lady called Mabel in his life, now whether they were ever married or not I don't know, could you see if you have anything on her please under the name of Mabel Peat anyway. Am afraid I do not have any details about her other than the name Mabel. Thanks Kerri. Wendy

Hi Kerri, I hope you can help. Could you please do a look up for anyone with the surname CRUDGINGTON. It's not a common name in Australia - in fact, at present there are only a few families. Any info you can find would be a great help. Thanks, Leonie

Hi Kerri, Thanks for the info on my Fraser family, any further info you could provide would be great. You mentioned that the marriage between Alexander Fraser and Jane Jackson took place at the residence of Frederick Jackson, are you able to tie him in with Jane (bride), could it be her brother? If so, are you able to determine of they were born in S.A.? Also looking for the birth of the groom Alexander Fraser, you mentioned his father was also Alexander, are you able to see if he was born in S.A. or did he arrive from the U.K. I hope this doesn't take up to much of your time. Kind regards Marlene.

Marlene

Marlene Report 24 Mar 2007 12:00

Sorry Kerri, my previous request should be for the birth of the groom Donald Fraser, not Alexander. (its getting late here in Victoria)

Hello Kerri, Could you help with this please... I know that a William John Ferris b 1868 Bremhill, Wiltshire and his wife Isabel Lucy (nee Harvey) were living in 1919 at 93/95 Gouger Street, Adelaide SA. Is it possible to find out when they emigrated it's sometime between 1901 and 1919, probably after 1905. Also have an idea that Isabel's sister, Mabel Annie Harvey emigrated with them. I have a Mabel Annie Harvey b 1883 , Frome, Somerset married to William Thomas Perrett in 1905 in England. Would it be possible to see if there are any immigration records for a Mr and Mrs William Perrett or any children born to them . Hope the above makes sense and is not too much to ask. Thanks , Regards, Jane
