Hi Julie, Many thanks for your offer. Could you please look for ELIZABETH BALL On her marriage certificate 25.5.1874 it states she was 20, on 1881 census DOB about 1855 Essex; no entry for 1891 but on 1901 she is ELIZAH - DOB about 1856, place East Tilbury. She married Samuel Lawrence in Northfleet, Kent. I have looked for her from 1850 onwards to no avail. If you can find her I would be most greatful. Best wishes, Maureen

Hi Julie, Thanks for looking. The baptism of Martha Spendelow born Prittlewell, Essex took place in Chelmsford, Essex. Does this mean that those records are held elsewhere? Thanks again. Kim

Julie, could I just ask where is your local library that does parish records for Essex. I'd be very interested as most of my family come from there. I usually go to Essex Records Office but it's so far, wonder if your library is closer? Thanks Margaret

Julie, SKS has pmd me with a marriage which fits nicely with my Esther Asbey - marriage of Robert Asbey and Mary Woodbridge in Woodford 1802. (Boyds Marriages) IF you have a spare moment (LOL) - be grateful if their fathers are named in the marriage entry. Many thanks for your help.

Hello, Julie. I would appreciate you looking up the marriage of John Maidman who married Hannah ? around 1800 possibly in Woodford Essex. Also his birth around 1770. It's a long shot but I would be grateful for your time. Susan

Hi Julie, Thanks for looking. I guess they weren't registered in the PRs then, since I know that they would have been covered by those areas. Cheers, John

Kim Thompson The records were way too dark to be able to read. I also looked for Martha between 1812-1820 but nothing under Prittlewell. Westcliff and Southend records are too recent. Could it be Rochford? John Mulley I checked the following areas: Grays Thurrock, Little Thurrock, Chadwell St Mary, East Tilbury, West Tilbury, West Thurrock and no luck with any of those PRs, Any other areas possible?? Thanks all others who PM 'd me. I am going tomorrow. Results Weds. Julie

MAGGIE FROM DOVER Ballingdon is in Suffolk, near Sudbury so you need someone in Suffolk to check Thomas Hale for you. Webster Flocton was from St John's Parish, Horsley Surrey so his baptsim records should be there. Again you need a contact in Surrey to check his birth. Maria Isabella was of South Weald. I didn;t have time to look into her baptism, but if you want to do that, I can do that tomorrow. CARRIE JUST A TWIG ON THE TREE I checked 11 parish church records in Colchester for Lydia Boyles but found nothing. However St Botolphs church records for 1813-1860 was missing from the drawer, I suggest you get someone going to Essex RO to check for you. JOHN I ran out of time but I will be going again tomorrow and will post replies on MONDAY,, same applies to KIM. Julie

Hi Julie Thanks for the offer. I would be grateful for any details on William Spendelow and Sarah Clay. William I believe was born c1791 in the Prittlewell area. Sarah was born c1794 not sure but possibly also Prittlewell area. I have a possible year of marriage for these two as 1813. I know they had at least 13 children, the first born 1816 if of course the first I have being Martha was the first!!!! Many thanks Kim
