Yes, just looked again at 1911 and edited it with Rachel's place of birth given there which is different to the other census.

I am also getting tired now but would she have been a Jones at birth ???

I was looking towards her possibly being a 'Davies/Davis ' ??

There's a possible marriage surname Lewis too which is tempting as it's Edward's middle name. Can't find a Rachel Lewis born in the right place though. Looks like Edward's birth cert is definitely required.

1 Pant Rd Dowlais.
I also have Death Cert for my Grandad, David Jones who died in 1926 age 67. of 2 Market St. Dowlais. Witness Daniel Evans Step-son-inLaw.
I have register of burials for Elizabeth Jones-wife of David Jones 67-1 Pant Road Dowlais. Burial 13.5.1902. Also one for David Jones. I do not know of any children with Elizabeth though.
I know very little about Edward only that he emigrated to 2108 North Kenneth Avenue, Chicago. in 1880

I have another burial record of Elizabeth Jones age 67 Interment 13.5.1902..
burried in the same grave is David Jones age 67 Interment 6.2.1926.

I fib you not I get totally confused trying to research my family. :-

1 Pant Road in the 1901 census seems to be the Prince Llewellyn pub run by William and Margaret James.
