Hello Rose, if you are still doing look up, please could i ask you a favour.

I was wondering if there was a mention of a John Turner about 1870-75. He was born 1826 Hampshire, the area i am sure would have been in Hampshire. He would be down as either a Gypsy, Hawker or Traveller For his occupation.

Its a shame he never used his proper name as it would have been easier to search for.
Thank you for reading and heres hoping for a small bit of imformation.

Carole, have checked register and nothing there but that maybe because it was not a 'county court' case .

This might be of some interest though

Hello Rose,

Thank you for your kind offer.

GEORGE WILLIAM MORRIS, shoemaker, bapt. 14 April 1811 at Stanwick, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE does not appear on the 1841 Census with his family. (Wife Betsy, children Jesse, George and Alice).

Please, could you look for him in the Criminal Records for me?

He appears in local history records in NSW in the early 1850's and I cannot find his name in any immigration lists for NSW 1844 - 1859.

His wife died in Stanwick in 1846.

Thank you for your help.

Reece
