Find Ancestors

I only know of 2 children for Fredrick....Andrew and Madeleine.
Jack Wicks children are Jacqueline, Sandra, Barrie and Nigel...these are the only ones I know of.

I do have another story I am yet to find an answer for....to do with the war..lol..

My family seems to have a few of these...lol

Story of an aunt killed during a bombing raid...this I have not solved either.!

I have been in contact with one of Madeleine's children..(Fredrick Fleet's grandchild)
This is where I have got the informations from..yet contact is irratic...and limited..hence I don't have the full story.

I only know what she has told me...Its patchy

Oh...and an uncle i cant find the name to..lol..

I know him..as I have meet him in the past....but i don't know his real name!..lol

Sounds mad...but I only ever knew him as Bimbo..yet I don't know his real name....never been able to find it.!

Have just sent his granddaughter a message asking if Fredrick and Marjorie were married or not.

Thing is ..I don't know how long I'll have to wait for a reply...or even if she knows the answer.

Oh Well....have to wait and see.

As you mentioned Oz..I do have relations in Oz also...lol

I have an aunt who imigrated to Oz in 1960..i think she was one of those £10 poms.

She married a guy called Carr..and had 4-5 kids I think. They left for Oz onboard the RMS Orontes.

Small world when you start looking at family..lol.
The granddaughter of Fleet who I told yoo about...her mother Madeleine married twice..!.. one of her husbands is Greek!.....lol...

I originally started out looking to find scottish blood in the family...but yet so far have found Australian, American and Greek!...lol..MAD!

Yes Reading is probably the closest chance. as my mother was born in Reading...yet I have not found the marriages to match those I have found in Reading...very strange.

Same name..place ..but mothers name is Tyrrell..not Hyrrell...but I believe that one died very soon after birth..so the second one must be the same people..yet the mothers name is now Hyrrell.

Whats going on there.?

I have been looking for the marriages between
Wicks and Fuller..and ..Wicks and Hyrrell.

But cant find them!....very strange...

Again..maybe they were not married?

Makes it also tricky finding the right info...

Because Reading fits....age would be right..only 6 years older than Marjorie...I find women married older men in those days...Maybe she was looking for a more fatherly figure for a husband?
Plus he doesn't appear to have a middle name..

I know its a little guessing...but my hunchies have payed off well so far in my searching...so I have faith in my guess work..lol

I GOT IT!.....I think.

John and George are brothers.....they married the 2 girls who were friends...on the same day!....double marriage!..sametime...shared church or what ever to save money!

Saving money on the wedding and the reception by having them together!

BUT!....which is which?...who married who?...lol

One brother set up the other with his girlfriends friend!

Hope this is the right parents...of my Jack...makes an interesting story....lol
