It has always been a small team which is why I wish Bright Solid would spend money on employing more staff to enable the site to function properly.

Prioritising is important, certainly, and the issues have been ongoing, as agreed by genes reunited staff, for well over 12 months.

Joy, when I am directed to that first sign in dialogue box now I ignore it an click on one of the community boards, I then log in at the top of that board and it works, at least I am only logging/signing in once. :-)

I sometimes sign in once, twice, not bother etc, Ann :)

But why should we have to take roundabout journeys? The site should function properly without its customers going round in circles to enable it to function.

A genes reunited response to not being able to log in:

"Hi guys - All of those who choose to stay logged in are given a cookie so that we can remember you when you come back to the site. This cookie also tracks other things, and if you are a frequent user of the site it can get too large and starts to dispose of it's oldest tracked data. This could be why the site does not remember you and makes you log in again. We are going to look into this and see if we can alter the way it works. Apologies for any inconvenience."

I have just had to sign in 3 times in succession, in the last 24 hours.

Twice yesterday, once about an hour ago.


so the "cookie" didn't even keep its memory for 12 hours!

This morning I had to sign in 4 times, one after the other before it let me in. Then the site went down. Apparently if I had been on FB I would have known there was a problem but I wasn't so I wasted half an hour trying to get in. :-(

When you find something wrong with a product you buy anywhere you complain to the shop and you have someone to help if you do not get satisfaction you do not buy at that shop again so let your hard earned cash take you to anew shop as I will be doing in April when my subscription is Due to be paid to GR.
