A serious problem here is that there is a shortage of carers in aged care homes so totally unsuitable unemployed people are railroaded into the carers course by Centrelink the government social security department to get them off the dole.Often bad tempered people specially men with drug or drinking problems end up as carers.

Well ladies you can get on with Sue's game now as I have to go for a while. Thank's for your interest in my job and many other people's, like Liz , there are a lot of us around doing this job and most of us do it because we genually care { eh Liz } it's just the very few who just should not be anywhere near these people.

Yes I am very much appreciated, his mum and I are like friend's not employee and employer. I cleaned for her some year's earlier before the careing job so we have known each other for 13yrs, I have only been her son's carer for 4half yrs.

Daff we have some of those problem's too, with nurseing home's and also some carer's who do care in the home, if it is picked up on by their family's it is reported and the carer will be sacked by the agency and prosicuted by the police
