Hi Sandie,
I just have an abscess on my upper gum - made ten times worse by the dentist yesterday so now I even look like a dormouse!! LOL

Got antibiotics to take and the ache has settled down quite a bit from last night's levels but I feel bleah! Taking my mind off it by spending credits on the 1911 census and just found out that my nan (originally one of 4 children but which crept up to 6 as I did more research) actually had yet another sibling we didn't know about! Bizarre.

Don't know about Sean's poser, nothing springs to mind, but let's start with something :)

Hi DM
My dad was born in 1913 and gave me a lot about his rellies, mum was born in 1916 in the same village, again we know about her direct rellies ,my maternal aunt is 88 and has excellent recollection of both sides of my family so the 1911 census wasn't something I had been waiting for with baited breath ! Gt Grandfather ( paternal ) was one of eight , don't think you 'hide' any others.lol.......... Hope your abscess clears with the antibiotics.
Don't have much of a clue on Sean's question, hope he can give us a clue.lol
The A is a capital letter

Oh help, is this the Muckle thing my grandad used to say? No idea how it went - thought he was barmy cos he said lots of things like Mares Eat Oats and Does Eat Oats etc. LOL

Edit to Sandie. My grandparents were all born between 1902 and 1907, and had about 30 siblings between them so I've been awaiting the 1911 to get the right birth order. (Sunames Davies/Price!!!!) My Dad has three older brothers, all nudging their 80s now but they never agree on any question I put to them!!

Sean Report 13 Jan 2009 18:04

No Muckles (whatever they are?), no millions or miles.

I used to have a boss who liked to say muckin fuddle, he was also quoted as saying 2's into 5 are once and 3 left over.....!

I could tell you one word is
is if that helps at all?
