Can speak slang Welsh to a fashion, and passed O level Welsh as a foreign language. lol. My neices and nephews live on Anglsey and are fluent in North Walien Welsh, which is a bit different fro South Walien.!!

My Aunt spoke Welsh as a child but lost a lot of it after marrying an English speaking Welshman. Her g'son , whom she was in regular contact was born in Oz, and he read the Lord's Prayer in Welsh at her funeral.
He lives' in the UK now and before the funeral we had a few sessions on the phone for him to get the pronunciation right. But he was determined to do it bless him.
