Yup got all mine done now but we won;t be home Christmas Day going to my Nieces so I made the Cheeseckae today to take. Sausage Roll in the Freezer I made on Saturday and boling a piece of Silverside (Corned Beef )tonight in the Slow Cooker. That's my Contribution

I lived in Wales for a few years. Met my hubby there and married in Wales also. My first born is Welsh
A little place called Pontneathvaughan Near Neath Glamorgan my father owned a pub there.

Not heard of Pontneathvaughan,know areas around Neath e.g Skewen. Cimla,Tonna and Neath Abbey.
I'm in South East Wales near Ebbw Vale in Gwent (where hubby used to work in the famous steelworks! and we are about 8 miles west of Abergavenny ( given 2 places just in case you may not remember or have been to that part of Wales and assume you are not Welsh.lol)

Pontneathvaughan is a little village near Glyn Neath, famous for it's waterfalls. The year I got married 1963 (Bad year) they froze solid was such an awesome sight.

On my way back from England when we went
I used to go through Abergavenny and Merthyr Tydfil, If i remember rightly I think we went over the Black Mountain? before hitting Merthyr was a scary sheer drop I used to be frightend to death. Did it one night on the back of a Motor Bike and you couldn;t see a hand in front of you. Thick Fog. I ended up walking in front to the bike. I was so scared lol.

Beautiful place Wales. We lived right on the border of Glamorgan and Breconshire the village split the two shires in half with a small river and Bridge seperating them.

Yes, know Glyn Neath and the beautiful surrounding countryside.
If you went from Merthyr to Abergavenny back to England you probably were within about a mile of where I used to live, and also about a mile from where I live now( 2 different places but both close to the A465 road )
