Two members other than you, Carolyn, have Marguerite Hewitt in their GR trees..........try making contact.

Be pro-active ;-) ;-)

Presumably Carolyn gave Erika access to her tree when she misunderstood and asked Erika for access to hers,

Carikyn, different countries have different rules about access to modern records.

One post per topic, please, as per site guidelines

You will need to do a lot of in-depth research. It’s unlikely to say the least that anyone connected will happen to see your post on here. Hardly anyone uses these boards!!

Look in ‘search all member trees’ as a starting point. You MAY find someone else with the same names in GR trees…………….

Their daughter Louisa Carolyn/Caroline 1821-1892 married Bart. Thomas 1812-1898.
The daughter of these 2 was Hester Charlotte Thomas b. 8/9/1846, who married Thomas Shaw b. 14/11/1845. They emigrated to Tasmania, & his parents followed later.
They had a son Henry Ashburner Shaw b.9/5/1880 at 'Molenda'
He married Marguerite Elaine Hewitt 12/10/1881 Mt Vernon? Tas. - 12/10/1960, Wooroloo, West Australia.
Their son Harry Ashburner Shaw 8/9/1910 - 23/8/1998 was my father.

I hope this helps. I have a large tree on Genes Reunited, and have given you access to it.
Regards, Carolyn Stan-Bishop, nee Rowe, nee Shaw.

This is my GGG Grandfather, and I'm hoping to find living relatives in Tasmania when I travel there next year.

He came from 'Sillwood' in Kent, England & had a property of the same name in Tasmania.
His wife was Hester Maria Elliot 1798 - 1838
