Oh I remember them too Hayley..... they were quite expensive, and cracked and split sometimes!

What a time we all had trying to put a nice home together.
All it really needs is love.
Just as well really.... we had loads of that, but not much money.

Don't get too green Hayley - actually have two showers - one in ensuite too. Just means more cleaning! By the way the two bathrooms are different colours and have different sets of towels and accesories for each room - they are, in no circumstances, interchangeable! Oh has been well trained! I also have a thing about the correct china and cutlery, etc being used for the correct thing (but only in my house)! Coffee cup for coffee, tea cups for tea, soup spoons for soup, etc.

Display towels are essential - I know this because I have been told!!
And........ Gawd forbid if ANYONE tries to dry their hands on one (especially the pink fluffy ones) I have known DNA swabs to be taken to find the guilty party!!!
Shower curtain must contrast and compliment, but not necessarily be matching.

Sad ain't it!

Deanna

Deanna Report 4 Jan 2008 20:26

Oh Joy please don't blame the parents.

My mummy was a wonderful housekeeper and everything matched.
She had a home like a palace, and no one ever saw her working in it.
She was the most ABLE WOMAN I ever knew.... bless her.

But I used to be good.. honestly. ;-0(

Sorry, I'm an extremely sad person who does have display (hand) towels. Also if something doesn't match it will never be on view. I don't have a shower curtain as I have a separate shower cubicle, but if I did have one, it would match. The display towels are arranged on a large square glass platter. A smaller matching platter contains an assortment of guest soaps.
