i told my daughter if ever she needed a note for school (maybe if she felt a teacher wasnt very understanding) just ask, it was more suttle for stuff that may be a bit awkward like PE or any sporty stuff,

It is really easy you know

When they ask you a question.... answer them.
They will never ask a question beyond their understanding, so by the time they do.... you have laid down all the basics.

I remember the night my eldest daughter then 11 asked me how did the baby get there?

She had been watching a programme on television about 'the facts of life'.... and with her back to me she said......

"well I know all that..... but how does it GET there?"
Well she did have her back to me... so I told her.

she was so quiet, and then she staggered backwards and fell into the chair and said....
"you FILTHY THINGS.... that means you and daddy did it THREE TIMES!"

And no, you can't laugh. it would just make it worse!

I remember them belts-
awful and the size of the material you put on them-
I was well into senior school and I was at home when it happened-my mum was wonderful-

I don't think she realises the enormity of it-I have explained and I bough her a book at least a year ago-put it on the shelf and said if you need to read this it's here-I went out one day weeks after, came back, she was at school, I was hoovering up and found the book under the settee-bless her. I just put it back on the shelf.

I was just 12 Catherine in my 1st year at seniors and my Mum tried to persuade me to use one of those horrid belts, no chance!!!

I hope Amy feels ok, bless her. Beth started a month after her 13th birthday. We were out in the Lakes and she came out of the loos beaming about it. Now its been 18 months shes not so chuffed lol
