Thank you colin
I feel very strongly about this drink driving issue,

my cousin was killed by a drunk truck driver - she never stood a chance,

she had just got engaged a few days before.

What a waste of a young life. You are so brave to forgive, I don't know if I could do that.

Hope you have a good Christmas and I know your thoughts at this time of year will always be with young Paul.

I hope that this message really can make a difference. Too many people died unneccesarily on the roads.

My heart goes out to you Colin.

Hi Everyone

Every year since I have been here I place this on. You will have to forgive me but if it makes just one person think then Pauls memory will not be in vain .

A screech of brakes a mother crying
In the road her child lying
A driver clamboured out of his car
He wasnt really going far
A couple of pubs and home again
But still he had caused grief and pain
If he had just thought, Dont Drink & Drive
This child in the road might still be alive.

Please dont drink and drive.

Paul Smith was my little foster brother, aged 7 years old, Knocked down and killed by a drink driver many years ago on this day. Even though the years pass the memory is still very raw and taught me never to be tempted to drink and drive. I no longer feel an anger towards the driver for he has had to live with this also

In memory of Paul Smith

Colin
