sleep is a natural healer and you ,too need your rest,remember how desperately you needed some respite in caring for your mam.Take time to relax so that you,yourself can destress and renew your strength Malc.
your mam is in a safe place with help on hand so try to take a step back,if only for a few hours or you will end up in hosp.
Monday isnt so far off.

10th nov
Mum in a world of her own kept on about a wedding cake but didnt know who's . Only recognized my aunt but did remember she needs a new outfit for next year.

thats not unusual medication can do that too as can high temperature.
at least she is having some lucid moments.

Malc, is the hospital making sure your Mum doesn't get dehydrated as that can cause confusion?

Malc, still hoping mum makes a bit of improvement. It's true a temp can make you rave on a bit, but at least she's talking.

hi hun
i know exactly how you are feeling hun,
my mum is actually awake quite a bit now but is in a world of her own.
she does recognise us now,but cant remember what she has had for dinner though.

we have had to make the heart wrenching decision to have mum put into 24hr nursing care.
i feel so guilty and keep crying,but its the best thing for mum and also my dad.

i hope your mum continues to improve malc.
