live in the midlands,hubby and son at Uni(son that is not hubby) and work as a special support assistant with year 4 children and love it!

im gonna be training as a care assistant next week im also a hairdresser

go for it goth i am on my nvq level 3 i have worked in care homes for past 12 years not the most well paid job its more a labour of love i have worked at bupa in their secure units also worked at sue ryders they specialised in life threatning illnesses the place im at now is also a secure unit not just for the elderly caring for those with severe various forms of dementia . including
alzhiemers and schizophrenics yes it is very demanding people kicking, punching, scratching,spitting,slapping,sexual harresment, verbal and physical threats you do get the rewards i do i get hugs ,kisses on the cheek and forehead, more so i love it when they put together a sentence that makes sense
i am now a senoir
we live in Chorley in Lancs. i am married with 3 daughters only one at home now we have 2 grand daughters and another grandchild on the way due may08 you will be in for a lot of training bith mandatory and those which are not i have one on friday nearly 8 hours it will also help me in my nvq level 3 hope you enjoy your new job
