.....freezing today the wind is bitter .
went to the town with daughter, she said she was going for a few bits and peices , came back feeling like a bag lady . told her thats why she has a car and hubby for to help with shopping . lol

Shopping is great fun until you come back home weary and laden with bags and bits and have to start finding homes for everything. Now you can sit back and chill Rose.

Hello all, been a horrible day here,
hope you are all ok and not too worn out.
Bad day with Pops, he has now decided against all advice and says he is going home no matter what. so i give up trying to help, ive told him exactly what i think about it, what with the real help he needs and he put the phone down on me, So as far as i see its no use trying to help, cos it only gets chucked back in your face.
so thats the end of the matter as far as i am concerned.

Have read what you all have said, and the norm it is true,
BUT
did your father beat you and your sister and your mother,
Did your father beat your sisters children,
did your father try to beat your children.
As much as i try to forgive and forget, it is very very hard,
I expect it will sort itself soon, one way or the other, i am just keeping a low profile, and try to forget what i know.

That does put a whole different light on things as I for one cannot imagine what it must have been like to go through that and I totally understand where you're coming from. When we are comfortable with our own family upbringing, it's sometimes difficult to comprehend that not everyone shares the same happy experiences. I think you have been very dedicated in the way you have shown so much concern over your father especially while he has been ill. The way he has treated you, your sister and your families in the past is not how things should have been done. I hope that things can work out for you all and that he listens to adivce, if he doesn't it's his problem.

Thankyou all very much for your concerns and advice, i really do appreciate it, i have decided to go and see him once more this evening and try again to get him to see sense, if not then he must cope on his own with the few friends he still has.
All the very best to all three of you ,my true friends.

Got a letter of the RO today - now there is a 8 week delay and possibly a little longer...............and i have just sent for one for the uncle i have found......it is now 5 wks since i sent for my grandmothers b cert..........am fed up now...........Lol

I should have been on the hen weekend now, am going mad that my manager wouldnt give me the time of........Grrr
