Beef was lovely, spuds were a bit hit and miss..........veg done to perfection aunt bessie excelled herself with the yorkshire puds.

But...................................I burnt the gravy:(((

Well......................it was like this


Everything was almost ready...........except the gravy which I mixed and put in the meat dish to cook.

I had drained the veg................almost perfect they were

Taken out the beef.....................lovely

Put in the aunt bessies and left the timer on to ping when they were ready

There was a real commotion in the garden and I saw a couple of sparrows trapped in the greenhouse.

I found my shoes, rushed off and tried to shoo them out.................the pinger went and I dashed in to rescue the aunt bessies.............then realised..........................

I had left the gravy in the meat dish on a high flame and it had all stuck and burned in the middle.

So it was all the sparrows fault.................and they flew out on their own as I took the meat pan into the garden to cool down.

I swear they laughed at me!!

have you thought of making the bisto as per packet instructions and adding meat juices/essence at same time, then you don't need to warm it in gravy tray? just a little tip :))))

It would have been 4 veg.......................*sighs*


But I dropped the peas and the bag split!!

My dog was crunching them for ages before I swept them all up.
