I think it might be worth people thinking about the kind of threads they put up- in my opinion it can incite trouble. Negative threads about the boards and it's people will cause problems catherine xx

Agreed Catherine. We all know that GR do not like to have anything negative put about them, and rightly so, it is a business after all, and negativity could potentially bring them into disrepute, so of course they delete. So it that light, there is absolutely no point in quibbling about deleted threads of that kind. Accept it, move on.

Well said TW. Catherine I have to agree with you, I think sometimes threads of a certain kind are put up to provoke. Just my opinion of course xx

if only everyone avoided threads - but the usual justification is 'you can't tell me where I can and can't post - I've paid my money ...' etc Caz (changing the subject) - did you get my pm the other day about your allotment? Maz. XX

Hi TW You ask if we can't respect one another. To be quite honest there are some on here who don't deserve and will never have my respect. Only today I have had to revise my opinion of someone which is always quite a sad thing. Don't know if it makes me sad because they didn't turn out to be what I expected or because I feel I must have had the wool pulled over my eyes in the first instance. As for the rest, I try my best....honest! ;-)))))))

Jeanette, you don't have to have respect FOR someone to be able to speak respectfully hun. When contempt is poured out on these boards, just because that person does not respect someone, does it make them deserve respect too? (thats nothing personal, it is just a general statement)

I have been given permission to use the words from a PM someone just sent me. I will not name them for obvious reasons. Quote I hate all this deliberately unpleasant back-biting snarling fighting that is going on. A few years ago my family was told there was only a 10% chance I would come out of the operating theatre alive. New Year this year saw me diagnosed with cancer. Can't these people realise there is much more to life than being nasty? Unquote. I think that just about says it all, don't you?

It seems that since I have answered on Lynda's thread this morning I have lost respect from a lot of folks And some I have surprised But I can honestly assure each and everyone of you that I am not a bad person In fact I am a genuine person and the reasons that have made me this way is what I have seen going on over the past few weeks. This Morning I just last my rag which is unusual but If I have upset anyone I apologise and I will try to be more repectful I have been here a long time and this is out of character for me If you think that I owe you an apology please pm me and I will sort it And to those who have changed there minds about me please think again Linda xx

TW I absolutely agree with what you have said. 4 good/fun people have left g/r this week because of the snide comments made to them by a certain individuals/gang. I have not posted any new threads this week (not that I can remember) I found prior to that when I did, these certain members swooped. I have had a lot of PM's this week from people saying they have guessed why I've stopped posting new threads as they'd picked up previous comments made to me on my threads. We all have opinions and they should be respected whether we agree or not.

Evening all... Wise words as always Teresa . On the subject of threads I tend to ignore some and go where I shall be welcome and I cant see the point of going posting on someones thread where you know your comments regards what they are not going to be welcome . If its a goading thread well let em the power hungry sad bu**ers carry on. I can't even be bothered to read them. Just because I am friends with people on here it doesn't mean I agree with everything they post because at times I don't and am not afraid to say so. Does this mean I like this person any less no it doesn't.
