I have just found this thread and must say Hi to all other furries and their mom and dads I have seven beautiful cats, Thomas (brown shorthair tabby), Freddie (mini-panther and confused female), Blue (the posh silver grey persian lookalike - don't know where that came from as Thomas is dad and mum was short haired), then there is Oscar (Wild) who is the image of his dad Thomas, then comes Arthur (long lanky dark grey and white), then Bethany (the image of her mum Blue although darker grey) and then the pretty boy Cameron (my baby, who picked up his dad Oscars tabby but combined it with his mom Blue's grey to become a silver tabby! we are talking whiskas cat or bacardi cat!!!) Well Oscar has just decided Mum is on the computer too long and not presenting a lap for a cuddle in the proper fashion and has done a flying leap, over Fred who is asleep at my feet waiting patiently (I'm on her chair), and landed on my back, good thing they have claws to dig into flesh to keep balance!!! .... I am n ow typing one handed as the other is cradling baby (mascarading as Oscar the cat) They have all just shared my fish and chips - well actually we get our fish and chips and two uncooked fish for them - anyone else spoil their darlings. Anyone who says they don't know what you are saying have never seen my lot charge up the garden at the cry of FISHHHH! or see them disappear at rate of knots if I make the mistake of saying the VET word before locking the catflap to ensure intended is locked inside. I understand why some say that cats have staff but mine have been trained since babies to come to a whistle for food (Pavlovs response maybe?) and also to come to a different whistle just when I want them in. Anyone else have an unusual way to get their moggy in? Best go - getting dead arm from Oscar and tired hand from trying to type and sore neck from craning round him to see screen to see if I'm typing ok. Hope all are well. Maggie H |

How To Clean Your Toilet - The Fun Way - Instructions on how to clean your toilet 1. Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl. 2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom. 3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close both lids. You may need to stand on the lid. 4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from the toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this. 5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a 'power-wash' and rinse'. 6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no people between the bathroom and the front door. 7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift both lids. 8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom, and run outside where he will dry himself off. 9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling clean. Sincerely, The Dog |

I want to wish all my moggie mates a very merry christmas. My pet cat Leyla and I in Istanbul, where the other animals don't bark or mew in English, pretty tough sometimes, but I look after her. Angel - (the golden one) |
