Clode and Mules are mine. When I research Mules I get all the gumph about horses etc!!

One of the names I had to type once in work was Titball - we typists always had a bit of a titter!

One of my teachers at school was a Mr Boney - well you can imagine what a class of immature school children were like on hearing that one!

I got my mortgage sorted by a chap called M. Gotobed, made me laugh when I had to ring him lol

I worked with a Jimmy Jablonski/y years ago here in Norwich.

The name I like best so far in my tree is my Gt. Gt. Grandmother's, she was Ann Merry and I have my Merry tribe back to 1500!

The rest are Woodfords, Wilsons, Throwers, Owen, so far.

As far as we can make out Ondrascheck comes from Austria, and only a possibility that there might be Hungarian connections. Ondrascheck and Schibik are hubby's surnames, and not really starte researching that much on them yet. Liz

Hi, I though my maiden surname of COCKSEDGE was fairly unusual until I realised the family originated from around Rougham in suffolk where everyone and their aunt seems to be called COCKSEDGE in one spelling or another. I too have a coloured family tree with surnames WHITE, BROWN and GREEN. We also have a PANTRY and a SATTERFITT. Jenny

My g. grandma came from a family called MACKINGS who don't seem to exist in census records! I was looking in a local cemetery for a gravestone for someone yesterday and I saw this name: SITDOWN. Good, eh?

My grandad was called Seymour Cawkwell but he preferred to be called Charlie!!!!!
