Hi Craig, Congatulations again, hope all three of you are doing well and not too tired. When my son was born we had narrowed it down to Cameron or Calum. Ended up opting for Calum as we knew a Cameron who was a little sh , sorry shouldn't say that, not very nice. My other half worked in a nursery and went through lots of names before we fond one that wasn't in the nursery that wasn't one of the above. By the like some of the other suggestions ie Thomas. Congrats once again Craig : ))..... this is the fun bit naming the cherub. I think Harrison sounds fab with your surname and choosen middle name. I agree with Hugo that his name could be shortened to Harry - so your get the best of both worlds in a sense. I liked the name Cameron but called my son Bradley . Other names listed at the time were: Harvey Alexander James Some of my family names are a bit way out: Athos Ivo Felix Rapheal Camille Kenelm Much happiness to you , Lulu and your wee family |

Whatever name(s) you decide, check that the initials aren't going to spell something embarrassing. As someone who has to help children learn to write their names at school I prefer easy to sound out and short to write ones like Sam and Ben and Alex, though I called my own children William Thomas and Daniel Rhys. nell |

Hi, The teacher in me tells me to advise you not to choose a name that will get him teased or bullied in school. Anything too trendy or naming him after current popstars or actors will always give his age away. Are there any family names you like? My son is Benjamin John after my father and an Uncle who died the year he was born. Gwynne |
