Is it me or has anyone else having the same trouble? for the second time in the last few days, I spent half an hour replying to all you good people on the web. got to the end of my drivel clicked "ADD MESSAGE" and up comes "This page is unavailable". Try as I might I could not get things back and my message for the second time is lost. I sent an email to Friends Reunited complaining agaian and have still not had a raply. SO I AM GOING OFF IN A HUFF. Had my new phone socket fitted to-day but it didn't work until I got another Filter on the phone socket. Talk about technicalities!!! SO LLOL to you all I will have calmed down by to-morrow and will speak to you all then Disgruntled Jim and Calming Influence Mary C.

Morning Everyone, still lots of snow around, but at least none last night to shovel this morning. Just got my Winter addition of THIS ENGLAND magazine, and an appropriate verse for all the last few messages. "I hate to cast aspertions at the strong and silent sex. But it's really time they got a blooming chopper on their neck. The way they mess us girls around, it really is a shame. They always do the dirty and we always get the blame. " There is lots more verses all about the sinfulness and wickedness of men ! For you Jim its from a Gracie Fields song. if you can find a copy of this quartes magazine, Jim you would really enjoy it lots of memories about the service men and women in WW2. Well have to go am having the first part of a progressive dinner at my house tomorrow night, so better start making a few appitizers.to go with the wine etc. Bye for now everyone. Marg

Hello All, At last I am back, had loads of things to do this morning. J an I can just see Rick with his fairy on top of his head laughter. Just hope you have got a good vac to get all the pine needles up. Jenny, I hope you find a place to put your tree in your new home. I used to have a live tree, but at that time we had a cat and dog and our Timmy (cat) always wanted to play with the items on the tree. So hence I had all the pines every where. So gave up and we now have a F/ optic one. Sir Jim where are you ???? Has Mary got you out doing the shopping again. Now all the ones that seem to be lost off the site please come back. Catch you all later. June.

Brrrr it's CCCCold today. Cold as the feet on a frozen frog Cold as the nose on a healthy dog Cold as Charity And that's darn chilly But it ain't as cold as our poor Willy He's dead, poor soul,He's dead And I have cleaned that one up. I went shopping this morning, on my electric invalid scooter. Imagine if you can, Me in my long johns, thermal vest, woolly pullover, thick anorak, fur lined boots and a cap with ear muffs. The winter sun was shining brightly, so I had to wear my Wrap around sun glasses, and of course my thermal gloves. It is a wonder the scooter coped with all the extra weight, Weight limit 18 stones but, being a slim 13 stone 5 foot 8 chap, fit as a fiddle (with broken strings) I have a bit to spare. Mary had to peel me off when I got back home. To all our new friends I am Jim Charman, official court Jester. You will soon get used to my drivel. To answer a question, no we will welcome anyone on to our thread providing they have some connection to Brum, otherwise you will never get used to our unique sense of humour, and can understand Brummie Talk like "Wur ya bin, I ain't bin nowear I'm just guin." Jan and Rick Glad to see you back from your London trip. I am surprised they let you out of the B----y Tower( daren't fill in the proper name in case I get in trouble again) Did you get to see HRH June's country house? It's the one at the top of The Mall!!. HAHA. TWENTY SIX DAYS TO XMAS Soon be 2005. Well all for now from thawed out Jim and His warm Hearted Mary C. TWMA an

So I am sure my daughters will be wanting to take me out on a couple of occasions.Might get them to take me there. Last time I was down I took hubby to Kinver Edge. He thought it was great. Jenny

Hi Everyone, My Brother took me to the Crooked House a few years ago when I was over in England A great Pub, worth the trip, cant remember where it was but well worth the trip. Just got home from helping with a dinner at our seniors hall, we expected maybe 60 at most had around 100 turn up, but then it was a free meal, luckily we had cooked lots, so no one went home hungry.
