got my book of the very dusty shelf..................... it says always follow manufacturers instructions espacially for self cleaning panels idealy its best to wipe oven after every use for stuborn marks or dirty ovens use full strength oven cleaner use protective gear as its toxic and cover ur floor lou x

Can anyone recall what the tips were for this horrible task were in 'How clean is your house'? I think it was to place a dish with household ammonia in a warm/hot oven - or was it vinegar? My two ovens have self clean sides but not backs, roofs or bottoms. Ann
