Unless he admits it then we will never really know.... Like so many others have said I wouldnt let him babysit any of mine. I dont go with this 'lost childhood' thing either, he isnt the only child star that ever was and we dont hear of the others being accused of this. I do remember years ago (before the last accusation) that he sacked his manager or something.... and the guy asked for some settlement, bit like redundancy I guess. He got the payoff too after threatening to reveal to the world some secrets that Michael wouldnt want getting out. Needless to say he was paid and kept his mouth shut. I wondered at the time what it was he could reveal that would put people against Michael and now I wonder if it was all of this?? Shaz xx

I am not sure either way yet, BUT..... Why have some of you condemned him already? That guy, weirdo or not has had so much trash(or whatever you want to call it) thrown at him by all sorts of even weirder people, plus the press, over many years, ...........what REAL chance has he got of coming out of this? Its a law of average that some of the 'Nice' people out there, by the grace of god, or whatever have managed to avoid legal actions of that nature. Similar situations can be described and manipulated it all sorts of ways. Bob There is another child star that has kept in show business while the siblings dropped out.........Donny Osmond

Don't know enough about it to make a judgement. However I do feel concern for his three children, I hope they are being loved, supported and protected through all of this. becx

Susie, his brothers quietly slipped into the background while Michael reached the heights of super-super stardom. He was treated very differently from his siblings as a child, and lived the life as an eccentric recluse who found it impossible to form friendships among adults......... his siblings didn't.

Terry Report 12 Mar 2005 22:15

I think he's innocent of the charges but a bit weird which isn't a crime. Paying the first case off doesn't make him guilty as he wouldn't like the hassle off a court case for the loss of a few quid (too him!) Couldn't be avoided in this case. Terry

I may be only a small mass, but I would still think of him as a paedophile.

Guinevere Report 12 Mar 2005 22:14

Hi Bella, OJ was found not guilty - how do you think the masses view him? Gwynne

Jean Durant

Jean Durant Report 12 Mar 2005 22:13

I truly believe he is innocent. Mad as a hatter but not a child molester. Find it very weird that a mother would hawk her seriously ill son around asking for money. Strikes me that most of the people in this case are guilty of something even if it is only greed. Jean x.

Haribo

Haribo Report 12 Mar 2005 22:12

So if he is found not to be guilty or as some might say 'gets away with it' do you think that the masses would dtill view him as a paedophile?

Unknown

Unknown Report 12 Mar 2005 22:08

Brian That's the thing that I feel uncomfortable about cos if I was accused of something and was innocent I'd go to court and believe I would be vindicated rather than pay someone off. But then if my child had been abused by someone I wouldn't accept a pay off but would make sure the person was found guilty in court.

My own personal opinion . . . . I think he is totally guilty, but I think he will be proved innocent! He didn't pay that young boy off all those years ago for nothing.

From the evidence I've seen on TV and read in the papers - Guilty. Gwynne
