what is pdsa? when i took him to the vet yday it was the assistant that took his temp and then she spoke to the vet to see if he needed another injection and he said no. kaz

Karen, Sorry two more things has the vet given him some re-hydration therapy, as he could be becoming dehydrated and also what did the vet say yesterday and did he give any further shots?

Hi Karen, Being the dog fanatic and worrier that I am I wouldnt wait until tomorrow, phone the vet and see what he says - better to be safe than sorry, please dont leave it until tomorrow, if only dogs could talk.....................I do hope the little fella picks up soon. Jayne

give him something warm to drink see if he will drink it he needs to drink try giving him on a spoon or have you got a syringe Linda

Hi June, he is very cautious when he goes to sit down, i have managed to get him to eat rice with scrambled egg earlier, but he seems reluctant to drink much. i wll be on the fone first thing in the morning. kaz

Have they told you to give her honey in warm water they reccomended this for Ruby. if she couldnt have food. My Ruby had a terrible digetive system Hope you doggy is ok soon they are as big a worry as if your family are ill, but they are part of the family Linda

Hi Linda, when i took him out earlier he did manage to have a pee and a poop, that is the first poop he has had since friday when he had diarrhea, he just doesnt want to move i have to force him onto his feet to get him to walk and then when he gets to his feet he moves a little then just stands there and eventually he just sits or lies down again. kaz

Hi Karen My dog although not with us now, had this some years ago and it was a gland in her back passage that had to be emptied she needs to see the vet straight away if she has gone down on her back legs Good Luck Linda

Hi All, well not looking good for Storme(my dog), he is even worst today, when i took him to vets yday his temp was down to 102 but 2day he seems really bad, he can hardly walk and each time you touch his back end he yelps, we have to carry him outside to get a pee, he isnt drinking or eating very well. got appointment at vets for tuesday but will be foning them 2morro to get him in then, i am really really worried now. Kaz xx
