GORTEX LINING - essential as feet need to breath! WATERPROOF as you never know especially when in training! other than that, whatever feels good!! :O) |

OH HELP PPLEASE Been out today looking for boots and what can I say - it's all in me head and not on me feet!! I didn't realise how many sorts of boots there were. Went to a proper outdoor place and the chap there lost me within the first 1/2 hour. Leather, Nubuck, those gortex looking things - oh gawd. So please could someone list what I need to look for in the boots (besides comfort). I've got to get me boots for walking in the desert with a whole bunch of mates and don't want to let them down.
