Thank you Helen for the account of the day. I have been thinking of Gaynor and her family all day. On my way to work this morning, what was on the grass verge? Two pink ballons bopping in the sunshine! What song have I been humming to myself all day? 'Wind Beneath My Wings' - Coincinence??? Deb

I must say thinking about today how right it felt. I went to work in the morning, and my boss remarked (not knowing the history behind it) how nice my Gaynor star was. Boss was wearing pink! She introduced me to a visitor - also wearing pink! Only regret was that Mel and I had to leave early - would have loved to stay and chat to everyone. But now I know what Daisy looks like. nell

Mags Report 23 Apr 2005 08:09

Hello again Nell, How well you have described the day. A beautiful ceremony for a beautiful person and although we were sad and tearful some of the time we had that party didn't we? The flashes of pink and the laughter paid fitting tribute to the woman she was, bright, lively and fun. No sombre occasion for Gaynor - she was determined about that. The person and the day will never be forgotten. Thank you Gaynor for letting us be part of your life and thanks too to Rob, Jack, John, Dean and Claire for letting us share in your Goodbyes. Love to you all Magsxxx
