Pat Report 28 Apr 2005 19:53

Thank you Maggy, I agree with you there are too many arguments on here, sometimes people do not think more carefully before posting, well that's what I reckon happens anyway. I think when Gary see's these last few threads he may just delete those words in brackets. I hate seeing so many of these serious threads having to be deleted after many people take the time and energy over putting their opinions and thoughts down, and they are deleted just because maybe ONE person makes a personal comment. In the future more people then decide not to contribute to serious threads and we end up not being able have serious issues discussed here. Pat x

Ok Pat, will wait, but there are too many arguments on here, I would hate to start another one! Maggy

Maggy That would be a shame to delete the whole of this thread just because of one persons lapse in thought, I am hoping when Gary reads these last few threads he may decide its a good idea to just delete it. Please Maggy can we wait a little longer. Pat x

Can I just say Gary that I started this thread because I was interested in peoples opinions, not because I wanted people like you to insult someone. If anyone wants the thread deleting please just let me know. Sorry if it has offended anyone. (although I should not be the one apologising, Gary) Maggy

Gary, Its is much better to express our ideas, feelings and opinions without reducing to calling people names, I know you have been able to express your opinion very well in the past without reducing to this, how about you just delete that stuff in brackets, would be a nice jester Gary and it would be an advantage in reading what you have to say ;-) Pat x

To quote Rhett Butler 'Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn.' The man is a victim of a skewed society which rewards Musicians and Lawyers better than Doctors or Teachers. I would not let any child near him.

If I was a billionaire paedophile I would have a theme park in my garden too! Just the place to find victims! Sorry that might be controversial, don't want to offend anyone.

l still think he is innocent, the media has too much too say, how do we know who's lying and who's not. One of his wives appears to be sticking by him on the news this morning - but again how do we know if she is lying or not. No one will ever know the truth:o(( And yes he is very sad and he's been treated appallingly. jude sarf wales

i think hes a mad as a hatter.guilty,i don't know one way or another but if he is he should be locked away .what does annoy me is people saying he should be treated in a mental facility ,would you say that if it was a 'normal' person who had abbused a child--i think not.

I think we should go back to the Saxon methods of justice. Trial by combat. That would really boost the media sales figures. Imagine how much Sky would pay for that one!

I prefer trial by jury rather than trial by media. I've no idea whether he is innocent or guilty, just hope that justice is done.

I think he's as nutty as a fruit cake purely for the way he makes his children dress in public.... there are many celebs that keep their children out of the public eye without having to make them wear masks.... Using this as my basis on the rest of his life.... he isn't living in the real world.... his world is bizarre and irrational and to have children sleeping in the same room with him that are not his is WRONG!! And what is he doing with his own children, if he has abused the ones he's accused of? Its WRONG that he has custody of them and subjects them to what he does!!

This is a tough one. We only really know what the media has let us know so it is hard to make a decision. I agree with those that say we should have all the evidence but also I would not let my daughter stay over at his place. Jack x

Because I am of an age when to me his music is meaningless garbage, I accept that to millions of younger folk his music entertains. What I cannot accept is that a lot of people who say 'Dont beleive every thing you read' can say that when in front of millions of viewers he dangled his youngster from a window like he did. Like many gifted and talented people in my mind he is a nutty fruit cake and if his horredous appearance is anything to go by there is something radically wrong with the man. Rupert Bear
